The Heart's Mission Creative Therapy
Holistic & Somatic Counselling
Utilizing approaches of Human-Centered Therapy, Gestalt techniques, and with reference to a Jungian approach to dreams and inner mythologies, the idea is to maximize the client's own powerful innate healing potential. Encouraging the strengthening of imagination and inner guidance can be greatly supportive in creating lasting change.
Working with the client's inner guidance, encouraging relaxation and feeling centered, begins an inner journey. Working within the realms of the archetypal and mythical often allows deep symbolic guidance to emerge.
A somatic approach can also support awareness of what the body is expressing, helpful for pain and chronic conditions. With awareness comes natural transformation, as the mind and subconscious is very willing to offer remedy when asked.

Craniosacral, Reiki and Energy Healing
Although different in their approach: Craniosacral, Reiki and Energy Healing involve hands-on healing which ignites the body's self-healing protocols.
Energy Healing comprises a range of therapeutic healing touch affecting both the soma and the aura of the body. A session invites a natural healing process to begin, supporting both physical and emotional well-being.
All such sessions typically involve inner somatic focusing techniques and have the option to include guided visualization and imaginal embodiment.
Art therapy integrates psycho-therapeutic techniques with the creative process to improve mental health and well-being. The American Art Therapy Association describes art therapy as "a mental health profession that uses the creative process of art making to improve and enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of individuals of all ages.
It is based on the belief that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps people to resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight.
